Very small company launches…
This probably isn’t going to cause much of a splash in the wider world, but today I launched my business “Blue Cask Data Consulting”.
What’s in a name…
In many ways, the name doesn’t mean anything really. Its just one of those things that you have to do when you set up a business. There are a few websites out there that will help you create names. Type in “data consulting” and they’ll give you I whole heap of different relevant/cringey (you choose) names to choose from.
For those of you who know me, you’ll just guess.
What is it about
I have set up this business in order to provide authentic, helpful and practical data strategy and data ethics advice.
When writing this launch post, I thought that I would give ChatGPT a chance to write it for me. As you can see from the screenshot above, the AI tool really hasn’t met me and, like most advice on data strategy, decided to over complicate and hyperbolise the post.
So, I’m just about keeping it simple and helpful.
